Dr. Goose

Late yesterday I climbed a wall     
The wall that stood 100 foot tall   
With all that climbing I had done         
Expecting to have finally won
             
I pulled and tugged then hurried down 
Lost my footing and fell on a frown 
I bounced back up to look at myself 
And found me hiding beneath a shelf
